CO2 related:
Should my CO2 equipment be turned on when my lights are off?
No. Plants use Co2 only when they are in the process of photosynthesis (when the lights are on).
I have a CO2 regulator that freezes. What's wrong with it and how to fix it?
When this happens, check the O-ring (seal) where the regulator attaches to the bottle, you may need to replace it with a new one.
I use a CO2 generator. My equipment is turned off at night, but the CO2 level continues to rise during this time, why?
There is a light indicator on CO2 generators that use natural gas or propane, this is the most likely cause. Check your timer to make sure it is set correctly.
What level of carbon dioxide do clones need?
Clones need a Co2 range between 300-400 PPM.
What level of CO2 do mother plants require?
Mothers need a CO2 level of around 300-400 PPM
What is the best way to control the CO2 level in my growing room?
The Co2 digital controller provides the best reading and results. If you decide to buy one, it's worth spending that extra money and getting a reliable controller, and an environment.
What is the best way to provide plants with CO2 in the presence of a tank and regulator?
Co2 is a heavy gas and therefore falls down, so mixing it with air is the key. One of the best ways to mix properly is to attach the Co2 supply hoses to your fan.
What is the normal level of CO2?
The natural external level of Co2 is 300-400 PPM.
What level of CO2 is best for my garden?
If you are in the early stages of growth, the Co2 level between 300-400 PPM is perfect. If you are at an advanced stage of growth up to 800 PPM is a good range. If you are in the flowering stage, a range of 900-1200 PPM is ideal. When your PPM increases above 15,000, your plants are deficient in oxygen.

How do I stop green algae from forming on top of my cubes and / or trays?
One method is to use sheets of thick, black foil. This is an easy solution if you have a problem with algae. The idea is to stop the access of light to the surface on which the algae forms. In general, they usually do not create a huge problem. If you want to clean them, use a tablespoon with 35% hydrogen peroxide dissolved in 4 liters of water. Fill the solution in a spray bottle and spray the tray (no problem if the plants are already in it).
I water my plants by hand and I have to water often. What can I do to not have to water so often?
Coconut fiber retains water. If you do topping with bat guano, it will create a barrier against rapid evaporation, which will slow down the drying of the top of the soil in the pot. You can also use vermiculite, peat moss or a product like Terawet for this purpose.
What is the best way to clean my trays and / or containers?
Soap and water is ok. Some people prefer to use water that has a regulator to lower the pH in it. Also, warm water will dissolve solids more easily.
What size hydroponics net mesh is best to use?
As long as the root core fits in the basket, it will be suitable. The idea of using baskets is that they allow the roots to grow outside of them, which is great for aerating them. If you use baskets and you know that your plant will reach a height greater than 60 cm, use a basket with a diameter of 15 cm or more.
