The soil’s pH level will effect how well plants utilize the total nutrients available in the soil. These nutrients are the building blocks the plant requires for healthy growth. Optimal growth can not be achieved with inadequate or improper light amounts. And even if these three key growing conditions are ideal, a garden will not thrive if over or under watered.

The Fertometer is a soil tester which measures the level of nutrients in potted plants.

It uses a light to indicate whether you should add fertilizer or not. The Fertometer gives a direct fertilizing advise. The Fertometer is an EC-meter which measures the electrical conductivity in potting soil. It will indicate the level of salt content in the pot. Normally you don't know if you should fertilize your house-plants. Now with the Fertometer it will tell you clearly if you may or may not use fertilizer to achieve the very best results!
