Air stones and rings are great tool to saturate the working solution with oxygen. Fully immersable in the tank, they are connected to an air pump.

Care and Maintenance of the Ball Diffuser
Keep it clean so it doesn't clog and works properly. For the ball diffuser to remain as it was on the first day, it should not be exposed to direct light or be subjected to temperatures above 40º.
